Apoorva Savanur
Research Technician

Apoorva graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University in December 2024, earning a Bachelors of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology with a minor in Data Science. In her coursework and co-op experiences at TScan Therapeutics and Prime Medicine, Apoorva gained a great appreciation for therapeutic advancement and translational research, specifically in cancer.
Currently, she is working as a technician in the Aguirre lab to develop in vitro models of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) to test incoming KRAS therapeutics while studying mechanisms of resistance and combination strategies. As she prepares to apply for doctoral programs, Apoorva is excited to contribute to the field of targeted PDAC therapies while building a strong foundation in experimental design.
