Jennifer Thalappillil is a Scientific Writer for the Gastrointestinal Cancer Center (GCC) at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She supports GCC faculty members with their scientific writing needs, including manuscripts, clinical documents, proposals, and letters of intent for government-, foundation-, and donor-sponsored research, as well as several ongoing research projects across GCC and their collaborators. She is also the co-founder of the Colorectal Club, a multidisciplinary monthly seminar series for researchers and clinicians in the Longwood area to share their work on colorectal cancer.

Jennifer obtained her PhD from Stony Brook University's Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology program and conducted her thesis research at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory under Dr. David Tuveson, where she studied paracrine signals and oncogenic signaling driving cancer-associated fibroblast heterogeneity in pancreatic cancer.
