2025-10 The Aguirre Lab made a big impact at the 2025 AACR Special Conference on Pancreatic Cancer Research. Andy Aguirre co-chaired the meeting and highlighted how pancreatic cancer biology is driving new therapies. Julien Dilly and Josh Choe delivered lightning talks on cutting-edge RAS pathway and EMT resistance research, and Panot Sainamthip presented a poster exploring clonal hematopoiesis and survival in PDAC.

2025-09 Check out the new Cell Reports paper from the Aguirre Lab, which uses large-scale public datasets to identify cell-intrinsic and cell-surface dependencies as potential therapeutic targets in pancreatic cancer.

2025-08 We recently celebrated Kazuki Takahashi at a farewell party, as he is returning to Tokyo, Japan to continue his career at Daiichi Sankyo as Senior Scientist. We wish him all the best!

2025-08 Our summer student, Karen Khela, presented her research in a 10-minute oral presentation at the YES for CURE event on August 5th. We are proud of her hard work and the excellent presentation she delivered to cap off her summer in the lab!

2025-06 After three years in the lab, Laleh Abbassi is starting a clinical fellowship in Laboratory Genetics and Genomics (LGG) at Baylor College of Medicine. We are grateful for her contributions and wish her all the best in this next chapter!
