Linette Bosques earned her dual degrees from Yale School of Medicine after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Puerto Rico in Mayagüez. Her doctoral research in the laboratory of Dr. Gary Kupfer focused on mechanisms of red blood cell disorders. She then completed her internal medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Linette is now a Clinical Fellow in Medical Oncology and a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Aguirre Lab, specializing in gastrointestinal oncology and pancreatic cancer research; she also treats patients with gastrointestinal malignancies at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute alongside Drs. Brian Wolpin and Nadine McCleary. Her long-term vision as a physician-scientist is to foster collaborations with colleagues in Puerto Rico and, during her career, eventually return to serve her community by caring for patients with cancer. She is passionate about increasing the representation of underrepresented minorities in medicine and science. Outside of work, she enjoys sports, Latin music, and spending time with her family between Puerto Rico and Massachusetts.
