Caroline Allen

Caroline is a Research Assistant in the lab working on a study exploring the psychosocial modulation in the transition from acute to chronic postsurgical pain among women undergoing surgery for gynecologic cancer. Her research interests include a holistic approach to pain management and implementing interventions that that treat patients' physical, mental, and emotional condition. She graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Biology and Psychology where she researched college aged student's behaviors under an abortion ban.
