The Bao Lab​

The Bao Lab conducts clinical trials to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and underlying mechanisms of integrative medicine approaches for individuals with cancer and in survivorship. Our research focuses on improving quality of life and managing treatment- and disease-related symptoms through evidence-based complementary therapies such as acupuncture, yoga, and mind-body interventions.

By combining clinical and mechanistic studies, we aim to build a strong scientific foundation for integrating complementary medicine into oncology practice. Our long-term goal is to enhance patient well-being, improve quality of life, and ultimately contribute to better overall survival for people affected by cancer.
