Sara El Sarout, MD

Sara received her M.D. from the University of Balamand, Lebanon, in 2025. She is mentored by Dr. Toni Choueiri, Dr. Joaquim Bellmunt, and Dr. Matthew Freedman at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where her research focuses on liquid biopsy and the epigenetics of bladder cancer. Outside of work, Sara is engaged in public health advocacy initiatives for underserved communities and enjoys music, yoga, and reading during her free time.
