Shikha Gupta, PhD
Postdoctoral Fellow
Shikha joined Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in 2021 as a postdoctoral research fellow and is being co-mentored with Dr. Srinivas Viswanathan on studies related to translocation renal cell carcinoma. Her current research involves pre-clinical studies of cell cycle inhibitors as single agent or in combination with existing treatment strategies and she aims to translate her findings into the clinic. Prior to this, Shikha did her PhD at University of Cambridge, UK with Dr. Cristina Pina where she worked at the intersection of experimental and computational biology. She utilized genetically engineered mice models and single-cell genomics to study transcriptional dynamics during leukemia progression. She is the recipient of multiple awards including studentships from Lady Tata Memorial Trust and an Abstract Achievement Award from the American Society of Hematology. In her spare time, Shikha enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling, and pampering her dog.
