Sample Processing

Immune Assessment Laboratory applies protocol-driven standard operating procedures (SOP) for the processing, storage, and tracking of all received specimens.

IAL is dedicated to the strict standards of specimen handling to maintain the integrity of data procurement and analysis for clinical trials. All our operations are HIPAA compliant, and personel is GCP and HSP trained.

IAL provides the following services:

• Separation of plasma and serum from blood samples
• Isolation of peripheral blood mononuclear cells
• Processing of other body fluids such as pleural effusions, bone marrow
• Special processing as negotiated with sponsor
• Short-term storage of research specimens
