Matt is a Hematology/Oncology fellow specializing clinically in lung cancer. In the lab, he studies somatic mosaicism within the lung and the role of the tissue environment in shaping lung cancer initiation, including the effects of clonal hematopoiesis. Outside the lab, he writes, skis, bikes, searches out new places to eat and drink, and religiously watches UConn basketball. For any Boston visitors, he highly recommends a trip to Sofra Bakery and Mount Auburn Cemetery next door.
