Maddie Kugler

Maddie graduated in May 2026 from the University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) with B.A.s in both Biochemistry and Spanish. As an undergraduate researcher in the Wuttke Lab at CU Boulder, she worked on quantifying binding interactions between the mutated estrogen receptor alpha and DNA or RNA, providing a biochemical framework to better understand the protein's function in ER+ breast cancer cells. In her free time, she love to be outside exercising, reading, or being with friends.
