Opportunities in the Giannakis Lab

Computational analyst or computational postdoctoral researcher 

The Giannakis lab is seeking a highly motivated, exceptional candidate to join us towards obtaining novel insights for the epidemiology, prevention and treatment of colorectal cancer through the computational analysis of large-scale datasets. The successful candidate will lead and assist in projects integrating molecular, pathologic and clinical data as well as collaborate with a diverse array of community members both at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.

We invite applications for individuals with:

  • Proficiency in working with a wide range of biological databases and resources, such as TCGA, GenBank, EnsEMBL, the UCSC genome browser, Reactome, and other similar resources
  • Strong statistical knowledge and programming using R or related tools and ability to prototype software solutions for data analysis
  • Background in computational biology, bioinformatics or other quantitative principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
