Berat Arzu Ecem Yesevi

Berat Arzu Ecem Yesevi is a medical student at Heidelberg University in Germany and grew up in Istanbul, Turkey. In the Gillani Lab, she is conducting her MD thesis research on the cellular heterogeneity of pediatric osteosarcoma, with a focus on epigenetic and molecular programs associated with tumor relapse and metastasis. Using integrative single-cell genomics approaches, her goal is to characterize tumor cell states and microenvironmental interactions by integrating transcriptomic and spatial data.
