Emily Jorswieck

Emily Jorswieck is a medical student at Heidelberg University, Germany. She grew up in Berlin. In the Gillani Lab, Emily is conducting her MD thesis research on the somatic imprint of genomic instability in neuroblastoma. She is interested in how defects in genome maintenance shape the tumor landscape and in identifying genomic features that lead subsets of neuroblastoma cells to deviate from their intended developmental trajectories.
