Thorsten Kaltenbacher

PhD: Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Thorsten Kaltenbacher

Thorsten Kaltenbacher earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Molecular Medicine from the University of Freiburg in Germany. He completed his Ph.D. at the Technical University of Munich, training in the Rad Lab. There he focused on epigenetic and functional genomic approaches to investigate the role of oncogenic transcription factors in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma tumorigenesis. As a postdoctoral research fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Thorsten is interested in integrating genomic and multi-omic datasets to better understand tumor evolution in pediatric cancers.
