Core focus: Understanding the germline genetics (risk factors that are often inherited) and tumor genomics of pediatric, adolescent, and young adult cancer. We seek to better understand the root causes and oncogenic programs that drive pediatric cancer so that we can contribute to biologically informed management approaches.

Core disease areas: Our work centers on pediatric solid tumors, including notoriously difficult-to-treat sarcomas, and extends to all pediatric and young onset cancer.

Core expertise: We leverage a broad range of computational approaches applied to large datasets from clinical samples and preclinical models to drive to new clinically relevant insights in our core focus and disease areas. Approaches and datasets include, but are not limited to, whole-genome sequencing, single-cell sequencing, and artificial intelligence / machine learning.
