As a recipient of the Hyundai Hope on Wheels (HHOW) Young Investigator Award, Dr. Heikamp represented Dana-Farber at a check presentation ceremony at Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. Joined by Hyundai Dealership owners from across New England who have worked to raise funds that support pediatric cancer research, Dr. Heikamp was presented with a check that represented cumulative funds raised by HHOW awarded to Dana-Farber. The ceremony took place at the 2024 Fenway Pacesetter Event, which recognized top fundraising teams for the annual Jimmy Fund Walk.
