Shipeng Xu, PhD

Shipeng Xu earned his B.S. degree from Purdue University, an M.S. degree from Northwestern University, and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis. During his doctoral training, he investigated cadherin homophilic and heterophilic interactions and their roles in regulating cell–cell adhesion and cancer metastasis. His current research focuses on mechanisms underlying NUP98 oncogenic fusion protein biology.

Fun fact: I have a cat named after the English name I used during high school.
