Zhaoyu Xue, PhD

Dr. Xue is a research scientist at the Heikamp Lab, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He earned his BS in Biotechnology from Shandong University and his PhD in Developmental and Molecular Biology from the School of Science at Tsinghua University. He got his postdoctoral training at Van Andel Institute, where he worked with Dr. Hong Wen and Dr. Xiaobing Shi. Zhaoyu is interested in targeted epigenetic therapies, with a focus on pediatric leukemia. His research aims to identify novel factors and molecular mechanisms driving leukemogenesis, providing valuable insights for precision therapeutic strategies. 

Fun fact: Work Hard, Play Hard. Zhaoyu loves staying active through basketball, badminton, and running. He enjoys the swish of the net, the snap of the shuttle, and the wind’s song as he runs.
