Dongli Yu, PhD
I grew up in Shenyang, China, and earned my Ph.D. from the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research. I studied plant immunity and structure biology.
Currently, I am a Department of Defense research fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
In the Kaelin Lab, my research focuses on identifying synthetic lethal interactions with tumor suppressors in kidney cancer. My work combines CRISPR-based genetic screening, small-molecule screening, and biochemical approaches to uncover potential therapeutic vulnerabilities.
I enjoy paddling, camping, and painting. I also love playing video games with friends.
