Fangyu Wang, PhD
I grew up in China and then pursued my B.S. in Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. I obtained my PhD in Dr. Richard Cerione’s lab at Cornell University, where I studied extracellular vesicle biogenesis and RNA stability.
Currently, I am an NCI K00 Fellow in the Kaelin lab.
My research focuses on alterations in the cell-surface proteome and therapeutic vulnerabilities associated with the inactivation of tumor suppressors in breast cancer.
Outside the lab, I enjoy spending time with my Westie, trying new restaurants, and playing board games.
