The Ligibel Lab gathered for a joyful evening at the Breast Oncology Center Holiday Party, celebrating a year of collaboration and looking ahead to another meaningful year of advancing survivorship and integrative oncology research.
Dr. Ligibel commented on the role of non-pharmacologic interventions in managing side effects of breast cancer treatments, such as endocrine therapy and chemotherapy, at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2024 Congress in Barcelona, Spain. Exercise can reduce fatigue, improve quality of life and cardiorespiratory fitness, as well as prevent lymphedema after surgery.
