Kalisa Kang

Kalisa earned her B.S. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego, where she conducted research on autoimmunity, vaccine immunology, and immune correlates of protection in the context of Group A Streptococcus and rheumatic heart disease. Currently in the Mancias Lab, she studies mechanisms of treatment resistance in KRAS-driven cancers, focusing on cell-surface–targeted strategies and ferroptosis-based approaches. Outside the lab, she can be found running along the Esplanade, trying new restaurants, or making linocut prints.
