Myungsun Shin, PhD
Post-doctoral Fellow (joint with Gygi Lab)
Originally from Korea, Myungsun earned his Ph.D. at the University of Virginia, where he studied lipid signaling using mass spectrometry. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher working on ferroptosis biology and developing new mass spectrometry–based methods. Outside of research, he enjoys spending time outdoors, whether walking or hiking, and pursues a few creative projects in his spare time.
