Phillip (Fan Yi) Kong

Phillip was born in China and grew up in Toronto, Canada. He graduated from Pomona College in 2024 with a major in molecular biology and minor in philosophy. He is working on identifying combination treatment strategies using mass spectrometry-based proteomics to overcome KRAS inhibitor resistance in pancreatic and lung cancer. Outside of lab, he enjoys rooting for Toronto-based sports teams and staying active.
