The Nicolson Lab is a basic and translational research laboratory within the Department of Radiation Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. Our lab is dedicated to advancing imaging technologies, optical contrast agents, and radiotheranostic agents to enhance the detection, evaluation, and treatment of cancer.

Our interdisciplinary research spans nanotechnology, radiochemistry, synthetic chemistry, small animal imaging, molecular biology, radiobiology, and bioengineering. By integrating precision medicine strategies, we strive to develop and translate innovative approaches that revolutionize cancer imaging and treatment by utilizing a theranostic approach to deliver more effective patient care.
