PhD, The University of Edinburgh, UK
My research focuses on the development of optical imaging technologies and nanomaterial-based contrast agents for improved cancer detection and image-guided therapy. I am particularly interested in engineering plasmonic nanoparticles for surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) and surface-enhanced spatially offset resonance Raman spectroscopy (SESORRS) to enable real-time deep tissue imaging and enhanced surgical guidance. By combining nanotechnology, spectroscopy, and cancer biology, my work aims to advance clinically translatable imaging approaches for improved cancer diagnosis and treatment.
