Yixiang Li, PhD
Postdoctoral Fellow
Yixiang Li, PhD, is a postdoctoral fellow striving to understand the role of epigenetic regulation in lung cancer tumorigenesis and resistance mechanisms, with the ultimate goal of identifying actionable therapeutic vulnerabilities. Supported by an NIH/NCI K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award, his research combines genetically engineered mouse models with multi-omics profiling to dissect how lineage and cell plasticity in small cell lung cancer influence treatment response. Dr. Li joined the Oser laboratory in October 2020. Originally from China, he earned his PhD from Emory University, where his thesis work in Dr. Jin-Tang Dong's laboratory focused on drug resistance in prostate cancer.
