Postdoctoral Fellow
Zhijie (Jay) Li, PhD, joined the Oser Laboratory as a Research Fellow in October 2025. His postdoctoral research focuses on identifying novel therapeutic strategies for small cell lung cancer (SCLC) using CRIPSR/Cas9 genetic screens and investigating the epigenetic mechanisms that control POU2F3 lineage transcription factor dependencies in SCLC. He earned his PhD from the University of Iowa, where his research focused on the post-translational regulation of the transcription factor ETV1 and its role in mammary tumorigenesis.
