Laura Beckmann

Laura obtained an MD degree from the University of Cologne in Germany. For her MD thesis, Laura focused on mechanisms of resistance towards Bcl2 inhibitors in the laboratory of Dr. Lukas Frenzel in Cologne. After medical school, Laura started working in the department for hematology and oncology of the University Hospital of Cologne, where she completed her clinical training in internal medicine and hematology and oncology and continued her research in the Frenzel lab as a physician scientist. She joined Dr. Parry’s lab in 2024 to study the transformation of indolent lymphoma into aggressive lymphoma.​ When not in the lab, Laura enjoys hiking, cycling, swimming or reading a book.
