Naz Cemre Kalayci

Naz obtained an MD/PhD degree from Hacettepe University in Turkey through the medical scientist training program. She completed her PhD experiments as a postgraduate associate at the Eric Meffre Laboratory, Department of Immunobiology, Yale University School of Medicine. She also engaged in oncology and hematology clerkships at the Yale School of Medicine. She later joined Dr. Parry's laboratory to examine the underlying genetic and epigenetic factors that cause the transformation of chronic lymphocytic leukemia into Richter's syndrome. She is passionate about hematology/oncology. She loves swimming, traveling, dancing, and doing pilates outside of the lab.

Naz is currently completing her residency in internal medicine at Yale School of Medicine in the ABIM Physician-Scientist Research Pathway.
