Sabrina Hu

Sabrina graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Biological Engineering and a minor in Public Policy. While at MIT, she conducted research in the Vander Heiden Lab at the Koch Institute, studying how the autophagy-lysosome pathway contributes to muscle wasting in early-stage pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. She also worked in the Essigmann Lab, where she characterized mutational signatures of various carcinogenic agents, including damaged nucleotide bases and alkylating agents.

Sabrina joined the Parry Lab in 2025 to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying T-cell differentiation and antitumor immunity. In the future, she plans to apply to medical school to pursue a career as a physician-scientist. 

When not in the lab, Sabrina enjoys going on long runs along the Esplanade, trying new restaurants, or reading a good book.
