 The perturbation of gene expression via transcriptional activation or repression can sustain proliferative signaling, one of the hallmarks of cancer. Our research focuses on using novel small molecules to target proteins involved in gene regulatory pathways. Our ultimate goal is to establish a biological rationale for cancer therapy and develop compounds and strategies that can be used in cancer treatment.
