Winston

Winston Lie is a medical student at Harvard Medical School. He is originally from Jakarta, Indonesia, but grew up in Boise, Idaho. Winston graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in molecular biology where his thesis focused on the catalytic mechanism underlying SNARE complex assembly. Additionally, Winston earned a Master of Science in Global Health from National Taiwan University as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar; his graduate research centered on the use of whole genome sequencing in detecting drug-resistant tuberculosis in the community setting. Now in the Rashidian Lab, Winston is part of the immunoPET team helping to characterize a novel CD45-PET radiotracer for the diagnosis and monitoring of myocarditis.
