Yoon Lee

Yoon Ho Lee joined our lab in September 2024 after earning his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Seoul National University under the mentorship of Prof. Ki Tae Nam. During his doctoral research, Yoon focused on functionalizing gold nanoparticles for selective cell targeting, advancing their applications in both therapeutics and diagnostics. Supported by a fellowship from the Ministry of Health & Welfare in Korea, Yoon is currently leveraging protein engineering in our lab to develop novel PET probes. His work aims to detect immune responses in inflammatory conditions and enable the early diagnosis of cancer and other challenging-to-diagnose diseases.
