Adrian Kalaw
Harvard/MIT MD-PhD Student (2025-)
MD/PhD Student (2023-)
Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts
Background: I am an MD/PhD student at Harvard Medical School pursuing a PhD in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences program. I was born in Vancouver and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. I went to Georgetown for undergrad, studying biochemistry and statistics and researching antimalarial drug resistance. Since starting medical school, I have enjoyed getting to explore the vast possibilities in medicine and deepen my clinical and research interests. I am excited to be joining the Sethi Lab and working on the heme biosynthesis and undefined polyposis projects.
Hobbies/Interest: When I’m not in the lab, you can find me weightlifting in the gym, cooking (and eating!), making music, and playing video games.
