Angelina O'Brien, BA
HMS BBS PhD rotation student
Angelina is a first year PhD student in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences program at Harvard. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. At WashU, Angelina investigated the role of interferon signaling in CDK4/6-inhibitor resistant ER+ breast cancer in Dr. Jason Weber’s lab. During her rotation in the Tothova Lab, Angelina is excited to explore the role of interferon signaling in the development of cohesin-mutant blood cancers. Outside of the lab, Angelina enjoys trying new restaurants, reading, running, and going to concerts.
