Cary is a clinical fellow in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. He received his B.A. in Biology and Environmental Studies at New York University. He subsequently received his M.D. and Ph.D. from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed graduate training in the lab of Dr. Keisuke Ito, studying the role of microRNA-22 in regulating megakaryocyte differentiation. He subsequently studied the role of linker histone H1 in regulating the epigenetic landscape and chromatin compaction in the lab of Dr. Arthur Skoultchi. Cary completed residency training in Pediatrics in the Boston Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics in the Accelerated Research Pathway, prior to starting his fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Cary’s clinical interests include pediatric solid tumors, particularly those effecting adolescents and young adults.
